I personally never cared for In Hell, I hear a lot from powerscalers on how he's outerversal and what not (he's building level btw) and I decided to read it and, it was ok I guess, spoilers ahead like usual.
I personally didn't like it all that much, while yes it is legitimately good, I don't find it to be all that. I enjoyed the story and the art though, most of the miniseries is Godzilla walking through hell and fighting demonic versions of King Ghidorah, Destroyah, Anguirus, Varan, Rodan, and himself until he ultimately breaks free and comes out of Hell alive.
Issue 2 fucking ruled. The art style was amazing, the cover was great too and I really enjoyed it overall. It has Godzilla fight Rodan in a hell city, Anguirus in a ice area...and Varan, in the same issue and I personally thought it was super cool. I enjoyed the Rodan and Anguirus fight, though I'd prefer if Varan was in the issue more than just appearing for a couple panels at most.
Issue 5 was my 2nd favorite personally, with how Godzilla encounters a huge demon and gets eaten alive by Hell-Bats and lets them latch onto him for a quick power up and he goes to the gate thingy and comes out of the afterlife all victorious and roars in victory, it's all super cool and I really enjoyed it.
I liked Godzilla in, well, Godzilla in Hell. I liked his personality where he's very prideful and willpowerful and changes his design all the time. His appearance in issue 2 and issue 4, where he looks like 200 and GMK's Goji respectively are my favorite out his repeated design changes throughout the miniseries. In issue 1 when he encounters the doppelganger demon I really liked the panel where he's all like "oh shit!!!!" and I thought it was pretty funny.
While a legitimately good miniseries, it wasn't for me, it could be for you though. It's only like 5 issues slong and took around 30-40 minutes to read it all since they're only like 20ish pages give or take. I personally give it a 7.5/10.
